The coupes have returned to Maine! 1930's & 40's stock cars racing slideways on the dirt 1950's style. No trophies, no purse, just good olde fashioned dirt trackin' fun for all. Ah, the music of flathead Fords and in-lines once again echoes through the surrounding hills. Fantasy Speedway Historical Racing Assn. is a non-profit corporation here in Maine. The 3/8 mile semi-banked clay track is a fully volunteer operation. 2010 offers free admission to spectators (donations accepted). We hope the same for 2011 ! Remaining dates for 2010 - August 29, Sept. 12 & 26. Green flag flies at 1:00 pm. Join us in our Sunday afternoon time warp back into the 50's. Who said time travel couldn't happen? Reynolds Road off Rt. #139 just a scant 2 1/2 miles from Unity village, and just 2 miles toward Benton from the Unity Raceway of olde. (They race Saturdays on the asphalt). Watch for the Hawk Ridge sign next to Reynolds Road.
